BVM Gives Back: Feeding America Volunteering
Best Version Media is dedicated to making a positive impact in local communities. During the last week in May, nearly 40 BVM employees volunteered their time at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to assist with a variety of tasks at the organization’s Milwaukee and Appleton locations. Employees helped Feeding America staff with food sorting, labeling, packaging and boxing, cleaning and more. It was a fun and inspiring way to come together as one team to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has been around since 1982 and is celebrating 40 years of helping others in the community. The organization is now the leading local hunger-relief organization in the state of Wisconsin.
Feeding America believes that access to nutritious food is a right for all. Whether it’s children, families, seniors or military veterans, hunger is unfortunately a widespread issue that impacts both urban and rural communities alike. Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has provided over 53 million pounds of food to neighbors since 2020 and has now served more than half a million people throughout 35 counties in Wisconsin. The organization also has 134 mobile food pantries and 400 partner pantries and meal sites.
Our people at BVM are guided by our three founding pillars: professional will, compassionate heart and a fun-loving spirit. These virtues are founded on humility and help our people become the best versions of themselves every day. We’re proud to work with so many high-character people who never hesitate to support or help others in the community. If we can make a difference in just one person’s life, we know it was more than worthwhile.
